Adult violin and viola lessons
As an adult, can I start violin?
Absolutely, there is no age limit on the violin or viola!
You will have to set yourself some time to practice between lessons, which if you're working can be a challenge at times. If you have a struggle fitting practice around your schedule, please speak to your teacher and together we can come up with a strategy.
I have to sometimes work away from home
That's no problem, we can either reschedule lessons or if it's helpful, we can have lessons via Skype, FaceTime or WhatsApp.
Will you be using the Suzuki Method?
The Suzuki Method is a philosophy based around children's musical education. As an adult, we will be using some of those ideas as a foundation.
I played as a child and I gave up. Now as an adult, I want to restart lessons
That's absolutely fine, welcome back to your instrument!
If you have an instrument, we'll take a look at it. New strings and a bow rehair / replacement will be needed if the instrument hasn't been played in a while.
